A question I get quite often; Where do you get your inspiration from?

Well, I read a lot about all kind of topics. I love spending time in bookshops and go through all variety of magazines and books.

Reading about architecture is probably my biggest hobby. One of my goals in life is to design a building, one day.

For now, I will stick to branding & digital design.

In Bangkok, I went to MOCA. One of the best museum I have ever visited. Primarily the work of Mr. Cheupan had a significant impact on us. Here a cool video about the artist and his work. Or a summary of his latest work:

“Circle and Silence exhibition by Samran Cheupan comprises 36 art pieces, including paintings, sculptures, and installations. His work portrays the journey of his own mind during its creation. Either rotation or stillness, form or emptiness, a circle appears in an empty space. The friction of rotation occurs from its non-existence. Silence and sound are also vice versa when we have self-awareness. Though there is silence, it does not mean no sound exists. Silence and space have elegant equivalencies. There is nothing much except silence and emptiness.”

While I’m planning my weeks with the tasks I need to finish, I always keep some space left to read, write and do something I didn’t do before.

One of the best things I learned while training for marathons is that if you do something every single day, you will get better at it. You will get stronger, and you will get smarter. To get here, you have to build the right habits. Without them, you will get lost. You have to be able to take your habits apart and say, what will work for me and get me in the right direction.

Charlie, as a very young lawyer, was probably getting $20 an hour. He thought to himself, “Who’s my most valuable client?” And he decided it was himself. So he decided to sell himself an hour each day. He did it early in the morning, working on these construction projects and real estate deals. Everybody should do this, be the client, and then work for other people, too, and sell yourself an hour a day. (The snowball effect)
